Ok, here it is. All I ask is you guys give me some feedback so that I can continue to improve it.
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup cider vinegar
1 10-1/2 ounce can tomato puree
1 6 ounce can tomato paste
1 cup brown sugar (packed)
1 tablespoon liquid smoke
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce
2 tablespoons corn syrup
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon dark molasses (may substitute corn syrup, honey or brown sugar)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil or butter
1-1/2 tablespoons finely minced onion
2 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard
2 teaspoons chili powder
3/4 tablespoon finely minced garlic
3 teaspoons celery salt
2 teaspoons fresh ground black pepper
1. Saute onion and garlic in butter or oil until soft.
2. Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan with onion and garlic. Bring to a heavy boil, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes.
3. Reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
